There's nothing like a wet cat

This morning I'm reading the paper like I do most mornings. Online of course because actual paper just makes me sneeze! Lately I've found it rather difficult to swallow all of the negative headlines, the ever growing unemployment numbers, and the constant forecast of continued economic downturn and why everything the government is doing will only make things worse in the coming years! Therefore I found myself reading some entertainment articles thinking they'd be less depressing. Unfortunately I forgot how all genres of the press can be equally idiotic especially if it's Fox News.

One example I came across from Fox News reporter Hollie McKay was 'Bad Manners: Jennifer Aniston Snickers at Brad Pitt's Oscar Loss'. She also suggests that Brad Pitt snubbed Kate Winslet after her Best Actress win since he didn't stand along with Angelina when Kate's name was announced. She also suggests that Angelina had to prompt Brad before he would finally stand along with her. She included two You Tube clips from the Oscar telecast as evidence of these acts of bad manners....

and

Now I've watched these two clips and I have to say that BOTH seem to be really pushing McKay's so called 'theory'! I think it's rather irresponsible for her to give her opinion rather then to report the Oscar facts. Aniston's 'snickering' at Pitt's loss and seems more like genuine happiness for Sean Penn's win. I hardly think it's appropriate for this reporter to say such a thing based soley on these videos. Obviously this reporter has nothing truly interesting to write about. Other then to continue to perpetuate the media fueled, scathing rivalry, concocted from the actor's private lives. Such a disservice this reporter has done to these people. She treats them less like fellow human beings and more like merely one dimensional fictional characters! Then again perhaps that's how she see's them. I wonder how she sees herself. Obviously not in a 'true' light or she'd realize she has no self respect nor integrity in her writing.
