What are your daily rituals?

Rituals. We all have them. Either as individuals or families or even co-workers or entire organizations. I'm sitting here having eaten my baked chicken and tossed salad watching what I do every week night. Wheel of Fortune. I admit it. I'm a word nerd. Hence the reason 'rituals' come to mind. Another is Thursday night dog weigh in. We have 2 Salukis that need to stay at a healthy weight since we show them at confirmation dog shows. Of course if we didn't show we'd still want them to be at a healthy weight but our type of sighthound requires a close eye. Especially our youngest who is underweight and we need to supplement her with more nutritional snacks. She's quite finicky but also just isn't a good eater. She prefers to graze instead of eat during dinner time but with other dogs in the picture it's impossible. They would just eat her food or she would continue to guard it but not eat it. Which she often does even at dinner time. Another ritual for the last few years is attending the January dog show in DM. This year we've decided because of all that's happening with my MIL we weren't going to enter. We've not had enough time to work with the dogs, groom or exercise them enough to be  competitive. Not to mention only 2 other Salukis were entered so there really isn't any points to be earned in winning. Now I hear there will only be 1 attending so it's not even fun to go and watch. Our other Saluki friend who'd entered has found out her oldest adult son needs a liver transplant and she's distraught. Her heart isn't in it so she has decided not to show. I will go into our dogs and showing in further detail in a future blogs. For now I think this is all that I have.
