Sloooooow

As you can already see, I've been slooooow in getting to blog. A lot of it is some personal things troubling me that I'm not ready to talk about. Instead I'm trying to stay positive today so I'll let you know this...

We had a great time at the Wichita Kennel Club show in Kansas. The drive was about 6-1/2 hours from our home. It was a really good practice run for us to go there with LM and her saluki, Tandoori.
We all road together and shared the motel 6. Park City, KS has a pretty good Motel 6. The only things I would complain about were that they didn't take care of the dog poop when idiot owners just left it. It is a pet friendly motel and you ARE supposed to clean up after your dog but obviously there were people who didn't loooong before we ever got there. Because of that grounds people should have that on their TO DO list for those of us that are responsible pet owners.  The other thing I would complain about is that our bathroom door didn't shut easily and SQUEEEEKED every time. It's as though the door was crooked and it didn't fit in the lock area correctly which caused you to have to lift up on the door to close without a BANG. The SQUEEK was annoying especially during the night and it would wake us up easily. Lastly the rollaway I ordered was atrociously small and uncomfortable. Therefore it was fair if we all shared one of the three nights we were staying. I'm looking forward more to Nationals in June now knowing we travel well together.

Our 2 Salukis didn't get any majors at the show but LM killed it! Tandoori got both of the majors she needed towards getting her Championship and she's only 15 months old! Now she only needs 2 more points to finish. It's LM's first time doing any of those things so she is elated. Were so proud of her and Tandoori! Fingers crossed the end of this month she gets those last two points and finishes her in our hometown. LM is really hoping for that. I'm just praying for no rain like last year where it was just miserable and cold.
